Maintenance and Usage:

Initial cleaning should involve dry cleaning. For subsequent washes, if dry cleaning isn't possible, delicately hand wash in cold water using soapnut, silk-friendly detergent, or baby shampoo. Always air-dry the saree in the shade. Avoid wringing or using the washing machine or dryer. Refrain from vigorous rubbing.

For silk storage, dry clean before stowing. Periodically expose silk fabrics to natural air. Place silica gel sachets or moisture absorbents in your cupboard for storing silk. Iron using medium heat only.
